Original from Morocco/Tunisia. Aura Cacia neroli oil is indirectly steam distilled from the hand-harvested flowers of the bitter orange tree in Morocco. Local village women cfully pick and sort the flowers from the leaves of the tree‚ which used to produce pegrain essential oil. The neroli flower is incredily fragile and the harvest must be done with utmost c to capture as much essential oil as possible. It takes approximately 2000 lbs. of fresh neroli flowers to produce only 1 kilogram of neroli essential oil.
