These backscratcher/magers cut from mature bamboo, and very strong and sturdy. The handle is a comfortable handfilling 1 1/2" wide, and has a rubber ball attached for use as a mage mallet. Used alone, or in pairs, these great for pounding away stress and soreness from tight muscles. Percussive mage is traditional across the Orient, as well as in Finland and Russia, where it is a part of their traditional sauna.
